Licensed to perform all legal weddings and same sex marriages in Ireland

Some people spend months and months planning all aspects of their wedding yet give little thought to the marriage ceremony and the Vows that they make to each other. Happily most people consider the ceremony to be the most important part of the day and want to have it a wedding ceremony that reflects their beliefs and respects their traditions.

As an Independent Celebrant I can help you to plan a ceremony that includes ALL that is important to you. I can conduct a ceremony wherever and whenever you wish incorporating your special choices of poetry, music, and readings. I work with you to understand what is important to you in making your marriage vows and to incorporate this into your wedding ceremony.

I can offer complete flexibility in the choices of ceremony and I can use any words or rituals that you want to include in your wedding, including these that would be defined as religious or spiritual. You may have no religious beliefs and may not want to be married in a church, but you might be disappointed to find out that a civil or humanist ceremony cannot contain any spiritual elements such as a religious piece of music or a spiritual poem. I am able to include any mixture of non-religious, spiritual or religious elements and create and conduct a wedding ceremony that is perfect for you.

Apart from the legal requirements, the ceremony will be put together to include exactly what you both want. Usually, a ceremony would be approx 30 minutes – 45 minutes.

I am able to perform commitment ceremonies and vow renewals throughout Ireland and elsewhere. I trained and was ordained by The Interfaith Seminary/Foundation as a non-denominational Minister offering services to people from all faiths and none. I am not associated with a Church or organisation and don't represent any particular religion, although as part of my training I have studied all the major traditions and faiths.

Thank you for visiting my website and if you would like to know more I would be only too happy to chat to you and invite you to have a look at the Weddings FAQ page, or you could contact me direct to discuss your wedding plans and ceremony.Once you have confirmed you definitely want me as your Celebrant I will send you copies of some wedding ceremonies I have conducted, plus a document with questions for you to think about as you plan your day. Most important will be the questions relating to your relationship which will help you to create your vows and help me to write the Address.

Your ceremony can be held on any day of the week and at a venue of your choice, including outdoors as long as it is at an identifiable address and open to the general public (as required by Irish Law).
