Increasingly funeral ceremonies are being held without a church service, and for many people who have not attended church regularly, or perhaps never attended at all, a full religious ceremony is neither wanted nor apt. So what is the alternative?

Contrary to what most people believe you do not need to have a Church Minister to conduct the service. A ceremony celebrating your loved ones life, conducted in a sensitive but non religious nature is becoming more acceptable and desirable.

The funeral or memorial service for a loved one is an opportunity to share grief, to acknowledge sadness, and to remember the life that has ended.

At this sad time the grieving family and friends, and the person who has died, deserve a ceremony which has been created with understanding and thoughtfulness.

Whether you want a ceremony that is non-religious, religious or which contains some spiritual elements, it is important that we discuss together what you feel is appropriate for the service of your loved One. I seek to honour and reflect in the funeral service, the beliefs, and needs of the bereaved, as well as the character, gifts and life of the deceased.

Whether the funeral for your Loved One is held in a crematorium, a Religious Building, a Cemetery, or a Private Special Place, I will help you to design and write a ceremony that meets your family's needs and wishes, creating a funeral service that is appropriate, meaningful and heartfelt.
